Tigger

Tigger was the center of our family, a calico American Shorthair whose boundless energy and affectionate spirit brought joy to every day. With her distinctive mottled coat and expressive amber eyes, she had a way of instantly capturing the hearts of anyone who met her.

As a true calico, Tigger embodied the playful and curious nature that defines the breed. She was always ready to pounce and chase, darting around the house with a gleam in her eye, then collapsing in a purring heap for cuddles. Calicos are known for their independent streak, but Tigger's loyalty shone through as she followed us from room to room, determined not to miss a moment of the action.

One of Tigger's favorite pastimes was perching by the window, chattering excitedly at the birds that flitted by. She had an uncanny knack for sensing their presence, her tail twitching with anticipation before she leapt into action. Of course, her hunting instincts were all just for play - Tigger was much more interested in snuggling up for an afternoon nap than actually catching any feathered friends.

The bond Tigger shared with our family dog was truly special. They would often curl up together, sharing meals and playtime in perfect harmony. Tigger's protective nature meant she always kept a watchful eye on her canine companion, ready to swat away any perceived threats. At the same time, her boundless energy meant she was never far behind, ready to pounce and chase in a spirited game.

Tigger left us far too soon, but the joy and laughter she brought will stay with us forever. Her memory lives on in the soft purrs, the flashes of color, and the gentle nudges that remind us she is always near. Though we miss her dearly, we are grateful for the five wonderful years we had with our sweet, playful Tigger.
