Remembering Shadow
Shadow was always a calm boy, even among his litter he was quiet. He was incredibly friendly, at first his name came from the color of his fur, but it became even more accurate as he got older, he would follow right behind you, often times tripping us because of his size. He always broke out of his kennels at night, he bent the bars and squeezed through the gaps in the door. The first german shepherd we had, Baron, in a twist of funny circumstance, was Shadows uncle, the two were especially close, and Shadow got really anxious after Baron died, he wasn't able to be without us for a long time. When Shadow was young, this would've been in the first couple months after we had gotten him, I placed his kennel too close to the side of our couch, and in the morning he had ripped the cloth off of the side, I still laugh at it a little bit. I hope he's found peace, wherever he is, he's the best, and I'll miss him, we all will.
