Nena's boundless energy and fearless spirit were the heartbeat of our home. As a Black & White Havanese, she embodied all the best traits of this bright, playful breed - a loyal companion who was always ready for adventure.

Nena's days were a whirlwind of activity, from her morning routines of guiding the others outside so she could get the first treat of the day to enthusiastically greeting each family member with the first “gift” she could find. Even her more independent moments, when she'd retreat to her favorite napping spot, were a reminder of the Havanese breed's unique blend of playfulness and self-assurance.

Of course, Nena's fierce loyalty and protectiveness were just as central to her personality. She took her role as family guardian incredibly seriously, barking a warning at any perceived threat and standing her ground with unwavering bravery. Yet, for all her assertiveness, she was also a total softie when it came to short cuddles and pieces of cheese.

Nena's loss leaves an emptiness that will never be filled, but the joy and laughter she brought to our lives will be her lasting legacy. Though we had to say goodbye far too soon, the memories of her spirited nature, her steadfast companionship, and her unconditional love will remain in our hearts forever. Run free, our brave and beautiful girl.
