Remembering Khaleesi
When she was born, Khaleesi was an outcast, being the only pup with light fur. You could tell her siblings didn’t seem to like her very much, for she was covered in pee when we first met her.
But when we saw her, we knew she was the one. When her new parents brought her home, she was confused and scared. But as time went on, she got used to things.
She had met her human sister, Cameron. Cameron was also young at the time, so pronouncing Khaleesi was difficult. Cameron deemed her new puppy with the name “poochie,” and ever since then, that was her family nickname.
Khaleesi lived a long, fulfilling life with the Bryant family. Khaleesi loved her ball, the outside, treats, and blankets. With her dad, she would annoy him, but when he threw that ball far into the yard, she was desperate to get it. With her mom, sitting in the backyard roasting in the sun; feeling the warmth was fun. And with her sister, play fighting and cuddling was most looked forward too.
Khaleesi lived a long 13 years, and every moment will always be cherished. Every day we miss her and wish she would have never gone so soon. But even within the sadness we feel, those perfect memories we shared with her warm our hearts. We will miss the sound of your paws hitting the floor. We will miss the licks we got, and the snuggles we received. We love you Poochie, and we always have. Fly high, and chase every ball you see in heaven ❤️
“I hope you felt like I did everything I could for you, because you did everything you could for me”
