Dude

Deuteronomy 'Dude' Morales was likely born late 2008 or early 2009. He wasn’t any ordinary dog. He lived a full life cherishing family, food, fashion and fun. Living to 18+ is no small feat for a dog and Dude lived life to the fullest!

After his early days as a homeless dog on the street, he enjoyed a luxurious life of sunbathing, swimming, walks, holiday parties, outfits, and secret treats from his mom. Dude loved being dressed up and 'eating' every single person up in his outfits

He loved to sleep, often camoflauged by laundry. He also loved to watch his fellow dogs on tv, especially the Thanksgiving Day dog show.

He earned a medal in the Walk, Wag, Run dog marathon and loved to steal food. He was a classy sophisticated dog whose 'chill' nature brought calm and stability to his family.

He lived in several nice homes in Arizona and summered on California beaches including La Jolla. He was notorious for his appetite for adventure and even survived (against all odds) a several-mile solo voyage in very old age. He always found his way back to us, that time with police escort!

He is survived by his human family of 6 who will cherish his memory (and his many death-defying stunts, like stealing chocolate! ) always. He is also survived by his sister-nemesis Muffy and the many people who were blessed to meet him.

He was preceded in death by pets such as Mr. Creampuff(hamster) Shelldon (snail), Opah and Gill (fish), and a nameless turtle.
