Dixie Belle

It has been one year since we lost our precious, sweet Dixie Belle. She brought so much joy and laughter into our lives. She had a special way of making everyone feel uniquely loved, and she had an incredibly comforting presence. She loved to be cuddled, pet, and getting kisses. She would often snuggle in bed with me. She loved to burrow in the blankets and sometimes it was hard to find her. We would say "Where's Dixie?" And her sweet little face would pop out from a pile of blankets and pillows. She always wanted to be near us. She was so silly and made us laugh all the time with her funny sounds, looks, and behaviors. She made friends with everyone she met, and was the most gentle, loving, and caring soul. We carry Dixie in our hearts and think of her every day. Her loss never gets easier, but we find ways to continue her legacy of love and joy by sharing it with others. We are so incredibly lucky and grateful to have had the time we did with this special girl.
