Remembering Bambi
Bambi had a way of making everyone around her feel like the most important person in the world. This little brown chihuahua, with her alert eyes and loyal heart, came into my life on her own terms—showing up at your door day after day until you finally understood what she already knew: that you two were meant for each other. When she appeared twice on your birthday in 2018, it wasn't coincidence. Bambi was choosing her person, and from that moment forward, she became my constant companion, my shadow, my world.
What made Bambi special was how she loved with her whole being. Those little twirling dances she'd do when happiness bubbled up inside her—spinning with pure joy whenever mealtime approached or adventure called—became her signature way of showing the world how much life meant to her. She was the kind of dog who thrived on closeness, curling up against me at night like she was afraid I might disappear, her small body fitting perfectly against yours. Car rides were her favorite kind of magic. Belly rubs could keep her content for hours, and she'd greet every new friend with genuine warmth, her tail wagging before her feet even touched the ground.
Cabela, her sister and partner in crime, was her perfect match, and the two of them were truly inseparable. They were best friends! Bambi was spoiled in all the right ways—taking her everywhere, dressing alike, making her feel like royalty every single day.
The seven years we had together were filled with the kind of pure joy that comes from being truly known and loved. She found me when I needed her most, and she never let me forget it. I am so happy that you chose me to be your mom. Your enormous heart will always live within me. Forever loved!!
